About Juana Elizabeth X Close
I was born in Mexico City, it was because of my father's work that we had to change cities because of what I lived in Autlán, Jalisco; Tehuacán, Puebla and finally we stayed in Querétaro, a city of which I feel proud for its people and colonial beauty, in fact, when asked, I say that I am Queretana.
Since I was little I always liked studying, I was certain that studying changes people for good and they can change the world, making it a better place for everyone. I have been fortunate to have the possibility of studying and with it I have been able to improve myself as a woman and as a person, I know that I must improve every day, especially for those women who have not had the same possibilities of accessing education.
I like all kinds of music although I prefer pop in English and Spanish, as well as Italian music; I also like all sports although I have only practiced some of them, such as basketball, soccer and volleyball, the latter I played for many years.
I also like to play billiards, dominoes and bowling, they are excellent hobbies to spend with family and friends.
Reading is another of my hobbies, in recent years, my books are about nutrition, economics and administration, since they are subjects of the subjects that I teach, of contemporary literature I really like the novels by Stephen King and Jeffrey Archer; From motivational reading I like Og Mandino, "The World's Greatest Seller" was one of my first books, along with "The Little Prince," which I read at age six and consider to be the best written book out there.
I also like movies a lot, I like romantic, action and science fiction movies, the latter, if they have a health theme, I like them more, especially because they show the infinite possibilities that humans have to develop improvements, although with Movies often show the dark side of the human.
I consider myself a patient, organized, responsible, honest, hard-working, loyal, punctual person, attributes that are important in a person when he wants this world to change. One of my weaknesses is being extremely organized, which causes me to despair before someone who is not, but it is something that I have overcome over time.
In recent years, the care of the environment has gained strength since humans have damaged it a lot, therefore, I try to carry out actions that minimize damage to the environment, for example, in my bag I always bring cutlery and a glass, to avoid the use of disposables.
Throughout the week, my main activities revolve around my work at the university; after work, on weekends and days off, I dedicate myself to being exclusively with my family.
For vacations, I prefer to go to the sea or to camp, in these places it is possible to lose everything and enjoy what nature gives us.
I have a degree in Nutrition, with two master's degrees, one in Administration (Finance) and the other in Nutrition, as well as a doctorate in Health Sciences. I have taken various courses and diplomas in the areas of nutrition, food and teaching.
