I haven’t seen Austin Hill since freshman year of college… We worked together at McDonald’s and then started college in Kent. He was such a genuinely nice person and helped me through some tough times."

The friend continued, sharing a poignant memory, "I remember his girlfriend, Deann, would get upset with him riding the bus with me. I didn’t know many people up there, so having a familiar face made it easier at times! I’m just so saddened by the news. I don’t know what happened, but regardless, gone too soon. Hope to see you on the other side, Austin!"

Youngstown State University has also paid their respects to Austin, acknowledging the loss of a valued member of their student body. Funeral arrangements and further details have not been released at this time.
