Sandra Colvin, Devoted Exemption Supervisor, Passes Away at 75 in Fort Meade, Florida

Fort Meade, Florida – Sandra Quinn Colvin, a dedicated Exemption Supervisor for the Hardee County Property Appraiser’s Office, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the age of 75.

Born on August 22, 1949, in Wauchula, Florida, Sandra was a certified Florida Evaluator and a respected member of the International Association of Assessing Officers.

She earned numerous accolades for her professionalism and contributions to the local property evaluation process, reflecting her deep commitment to her community.

Sandra Colvin’s passing has left a profound impact on her family, colleagues, and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Colvin; her sons, James Eric Quinn and Matthew Mark McEntyre; her stepson, Allen Thomas; and her six grandchildren: Carson Justice Quinn, Ashton Kriss Quinn, Kadence Denae Quinn, Emersyn Haylee Quinn, Roslyn Leanna Bryant, and Aiden Thomas.

She is also survived by her sisters, Noveda Quinn, Laura Honc, and Barbara Quinn, along with numerous extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Fort Meade Worship Center, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL.
