Robert Czerwinski, 85, Dies in Westwood Crash Following Vehicle Collision at Boudinot and Queen City Avenues

Westwood, Ohio – Robert Czerwinski, an 85-year-old man, tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Boudinot and Queen City Avenues, as confirmed by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

Czerwinski was a backseat passenger in a 2016 Toyota Camry, which collided with another vehicle after a 17-year-old driver of a 2018 Ford Focus reportedly ran a red light.

The collision sent the Toyota off course, causing it to crash into the Ahadu Market building.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 9:30 a.m.

While the drivers of both vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to UC Medical Centre for treatment, Robert Czerwinski was pronounced dead on-site due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Cincinnati police are continuing to investigate the incident and have requested that any witnesses come forward to assist in their ongoing inquiry.

No further details regarding the involvement of seatbelts in the accident were released at this time.
