Australia – Rizk (Michel) Halabi, a beloved member of the Basloukit and Zgharta communities, has sadly passed away in Australia.
The news was shared by the Australian Basloukit Association, announcing his passing and providing details for the funeral and condolence services.
Rizk Halabi, the husband of Jamile Halabi, was a cherished figure within his community, and his passing has deeply affected friends and family both in Australia and Lebanon.
Condolences will be held at St Charbel’s Church, Punchbowl, on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The funeral service will take place at the same location on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, at 9:30 AM.
Members of the Basloukit group expressed their heartfelt sympathies on social media.
Maria Pace wrote, “Love you dad, you will always be in my heart,” while Yolla Bressa shared, “Condolences to all the family. May he rest in peace.”
Other members, such as Norma Mannah Attie, also offered prayers, saying, “May his soul rest in peace.”
