Paul Michael Darnell, a respected former iron worker and member of Local 782, died peacefully at his home in Benton, Kentucky on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born on April 15, 1949, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Louise Smith Darnall, Darnell had a distinguished career both in the military and in the local workforce.

Darnell, who served honorably in the United States Army before entering the iron working profession, was remembered for his dedication to both his country and his community. His commitment to excellence was recognized throughout his life and career.
