Riverview, Florida – Matthew Owen, a 19-year-old resident of Tampa, was tragically discovered deceased in a car along I-75 near Progress Boulevard, authorities confirmed on Monday.
His body was found inside a convertible Mazda Miata by a work crew, leading to an investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The vehicle is believed to have been at the location for several weeks before being found.
Matthew Owen was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and he had sustained fatal injuries.
He was known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter, making a lasting impact on his family, friends, and those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
