Logan White, 21-Year-Old Motorcyclist, Killed in Tragic Crash in Omaha, Nebraska

Omaha, Nebraska – Logan White, a 21-year-old motorcyclist, tragically passed away following a fatal collision in Millard on the morning of Friday, September 27, 2024.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Millard Avenue and Q Street around 10:46 a.m. when White’s motorcycle struck the side of a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 72-year-old man.

Despite wearing a helmet, White sustained critical injuries and was transported to CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.

The driver of the pickup was unharmed and is cooperating with investigators as they continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the crash.

This incident marks the 43rd fatal crash in Omaha this year.

Friends, family, and members of the local community have shared their condolences, with many expressing their grief over the young life lost.

Brandon Hardin commented, "Bring back the helmet law," while Dallas Phelps shared, "So sad."

Others, like Rebecca Traxler, simply remarked, "Sad."

White was known for his adventurous spirit and love for motorcycles.

As authorities continue to investigate the incident, the Omaha community mourns the loss of a vibrant young man whose life was cut tragically short.
