Louisville, Kentucky – Layne Todd, a 39-year-old motorcyclist, tragically passed away following a fatal collision on Frankfort Avenue. The incident occurred on Friday evening when Todd’s motorcycle collided with a pickup truck near Stoll Avenue.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Todd died of blunt force trauma shortly after being transported to UofL Hospital. The crash happened just before 7 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024. Louisville Metro Police reported that the driver of the pickup truck was making a left turn onto Frankfort Avenue and collided with Todd’s motorcycle. The truck driver remained uninjured.
