Madisonville, KY – Kimberly "Kim" Riley Crofton, 62, passed away on September 21, 2024, at Madisonville Health and Rehab, leaving behind a grieving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Born on April 25, 1962, in Madisonville, KY, Kimberly was the daughter of the late Letha Lee Baize and Edward Baize.
She spent over two decades working at Carhartt and was known for her love of playing Sims, solving word search puzzles, and staying informed by watching the news.
Kimberly’s greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren, who were a significant part of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Crofton; her brothers, Joel Riley and Danny Baize; her sister, Sheila Bruce; and her beloved dogs, Tinker and Sissy.
She is survived by her sons, Dallas Spinks of Madisonville and Ricky Spinks, Jr. of New York, as well as her grandchildren, Brandon Spinks, Trevor Spinks, Dallyn Spinks, Jayiden Ruckert, and Cheyenne Spinks, along with four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, with Pastor Mitch Cotton officiating.
Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY.
Sharon Sue Moore Basham shared on Facebook, “My prayers and thoughts are with you,” while Freddie Stafford and others expressed their heartfelt condolences, with many sending prayers for the family.
Kimberly’s memory will be carried on by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
