Ottawa, Ontario – Karl David Mann, a cherished member of the Ottawa community, passed away tragically on September 28, 2024, at the age of 65.
His sudden death has left family, friends, and the University of Manitoba mourning the loss of a kind and compassionate soul.
Karl David was known for his warmth and the positive impact he had on countless lives, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Mann, their children Ryan (Deanna) and Janessa Mann (Nic Cober), as well as his parents, Marianne and Leonard Mann.
His passing has deeply affected not only his immediate family but also his extended relatives, including siblings Ian (Angela), Arthur (Phyllis), and Judie Mann, as well as parents-in-law Alice and John Dueck.
Many of Karl David’s nieces, nephews, and in-laws, including Ruth Wiens (Bob) and Doug Dueck (Diana), are grieving his loss.
