Honolulu, Hawaii – The community is mourning the loss of Mark Montez, a respected Honolulu Police Officer, who passed away unexpectedly.
Mark Montez, a devoted father of four daughters, was a beloved figure in his community. His sudden departure has left his family and the community he served deeply devastated.
His eldest daughter, Honore’e Montez, shared the heartbreaking news, describing the immense emotional pain and financial burdens now facing their family. To assist with funeral and related expenses, the family has initiated a fundraiser, which has raised $2,185 from 22 donations towards a $20,000 goal.
Honore’e expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, stating, “We thank all who have sent us prayers, texts, calls, visits to our home, meals being dropped off, hugs, and condolences.”
Messages of sympathy have poured in on social media, with friends and relatives sharing their condolences.
Shana Colburn wrote, “Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to my cousin Lehua Montez and her baby girls. I’m so sorry for your loss. Love you all!”
