Ramsey, MN – Herman Abrams, fondly known as "Papa Smurf" by friends and family, has passed away following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Abrams, a passionate supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and a beloved figure in his community, leaves behind his loving wife and five children.
His death has deeply affected those close to him, with many expressing their grief and fond memories of the man who cherished both his family and friends.
Paul Anderson, a close friend and organizer of a GoFundMe campaign for Abrams’ funeral expenses, shared, “Our friend, Herman Abrams, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.
He leaves behind a loving family who now has to face life without him.”
The fundraiser aims to assist the Abrams family, who have faced significant financial challenges due to the long-term illness and now need help with funeral costs by October 5.
In a heartfelt post, Viking World Order also mourned Abrams, saying, “Our dear friend/brother/homie, Herman Abrams, has succumbed to pancreatic cancer.
