Greenville, South Carolina – Jason Michael Haynie, a 41-year-old resident of Greenville, died on September 19, 2024, after suffering severe injuries from an assault outside City Tavern. The incident, which occurred on the early morning of September 18, left Haynie unconscious on the sidewalk, prompting immediate police and medical response.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, Haynie succumbed to blunt force trauma to the head, which was determined to be the cause of death in a homicide investigation.
