Healdsburg, California – Glenn Merrifield, a 50-year-old resident of Windsor, was arrested following a serious motorcycle accident on Thursday, September 26, 2024, that left two individuals injured at the intersection of Healdsburg Avenue and Parkland Farms Boulevard.
Merrifield, who was riding a motorcycle, sustained significant injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle involved suffered moderate injuries and received medical attention at the scene.
According to the Healdsburg Police Department (HPD), the crash occurred around 12:19 p.m., and a subsequent investigation revealed that Merrifield was driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was also found in possession of a controlled substance.
Merrifield was arrested on charges of felony DUI causing injury but was later released due to the severity of his injuries, with a future court date scheduled.
