Dublin, Ohio – The body of 23-year-old Faris Hamadnalla, a resident of Dublin, Ohio, has been found in a river near his hometown, ending a distressing search that began over two weeks ago.
Hamadnalla was last seen on September 23, 2024, when he left his home and stopped at a BP gas station on Sawmill Road in Columbus, Ohio, around 11:47 p.m.
Surveillance footage from the gas station showed him appearing calm, but this would be the last time he was seen alive.
His dark blue 2008 Honda Accord was detected shortly afterward by the FLOCK system, heading south in Dublin at 12:18 a.m. on September 24, 2024.
However, there were no further leads until his body was eventually recovered from the river, with the cause of death still under investigation.
The discovery has deeply impacted the local community, who had hoped for a more hopeful outcome.
