Walton, Kentucky – Drew Croxson, a 23-year-old resident of Walton, Kentucky, has been declared brain dead following a severe car accident that occurred on September 27, 2024.
The young father was critically injured and remained in the ICU at UK Hospital before his condition was declared irreversible.
Croxson is survived by his 1.5-year-old child, adding to the heartbreak his family is currently enduring.
This tragedy comes just one year after the loss of his uncle, further compounding the family’s grief.
A GoFundMe campaign, led by his family member Shannon Neace, has been set up to help cover funeral expenses.
In a statement shared on social media, Neace expressed her deep sorrow, saying, “My nephew, Drew Croxson, was in a terrible car accident and has been declared brain dead.
We are deeply saddened by this tragedy.”
The news has prompted an outpouring of support from friends and community members, with many offering prayers and condolences.
