Community Rallies Support for Lachlan Briggs After Loss of His Mother

Tamarama, NSW – A community-led fundraiser has been launched to support Lachlan Briggs, 20, and his younger brother Ben, 17, following the sudden loss of their mother, Mirja Ilona Krauss, who tragically passed away in early August due to a brain aneurysm.

Kellie Robbo Lane, a family friend, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help the Briggs brothers through this challenging time. The funds raised will go towards covering essential costs such as rent, bills, and school expenses.

As of today, the fundraiser has collected $600 AUD out of the $10,000 goal, with donations from six individuals. Kellie Robbo Lane expressed her hope that the community can come together to help the brothers during this difficult time. In her fundraiser message, she said, "I would love if our community could help out these boys in any way to get them through these tough times."

Several individuals have contributed to the campaign, with donations ranging from $50 to $200. Sarah Etournaud donated $50, while Lauren Briggs contributed $150. Others, like Keanu Rogers-Smith and Susan Lewis, have also shown their support.

On Facebook, family member Daniel Briggs encouraged others to donate, posting, "Hi all, would be much appreciated if you could get around my brothers. Any donation counts."

The community continues to rally around Lachlan and Ben, with more donations and shares expected in the coming days.

For those wishing to contribute, the fundraiser can be found on GoFundMe under "Supporting Ben & Lachlan Briggs."
