Scarborough, Maine – The Scarborough community is mourning the tragic passing of Ashley Taylor Gleason, a beloved 27-year-old resident who passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Ashley was widely known for her compassion, kindness, and vibrant personality, traits that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Born on August 24, 1997, in Portland, Maine, Ashley spent most of her life in Scarborough, where she was an integral part of the community.
She graduated from Scarborough High School in 2015, excelling both academically and athletically, and went on to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, where she further distinguished herself as a student-athlete.
Her warm and selfless nature was felt throughout her hometown and beyond, with friends and community members fondly recalling her willingness to help others and her infectious energy.
